Mat Kearney: Young Love Album Review

Mat Kearney's third album Young Love was released on August 2nd and debuted in the #1 spot on iTunes.

The first single from the album Young Love is called Hay Mama.. It was written by Mat and describes the first meeting between him and his wife. You can check out the video for Hey Mama here.

Mat Kearney will be hitting the road in September, playing shows all over the US with a few stops in Canada. Tickets are on sale now!

I was unfamiliar with Mat Kearney until I received his album to review as a member of the One2One Network. I popped the album into my CD player as soon as it arrived and was very pleased with what I was hearing. It'd kind of hard to explain what his music sounds like.. It's upbeat and "poppy" with a hip-hop beat, nonetheless it's very catchy and definitely dance worthy!

If you're like me and you're not familiar with Mat Kearney's music, you may have heard some of his previous hits on 30 Rock, Grey's Anatomy, The Hills, Friday Night Lights, Scrubs, and NCIS. Mat has even been on tour with John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, and The Fray.

Mat Kearney's album Young Love is definitely growing on me and he is turning into one of my favorite's! I just might have to check him out when he's on tour this fall!

You can listen to Mat Kearney's music on his iTunes page and be sure to check him out on Facebook!

Disclosure: I was provided with Mat Kearney's album Young Love as a member of the One2One Network. I was not compensated in any way, however I am being entered to win a $50 gift card for writing this review. All opinions are my own.
