Winnie the Pooh Available on Blu-ray & DVD 10/25!

Winnie the Pooh
Available on Blu-ray & DVD October 25th!

Synopsis: Disney returns to the Hundred Acre Wood with “Winnie the Pooh.” Featuring the timeless charm, wit and whimsy of the original featurettes, this all-new movie reunites audiences with the philosophical “bear of very little brain” and friends Tigger, Rabbit, Piglet, Owl, Kanga, Roo – and last, but certainly not least, Eeyore, who has lost his tail. “Ever have one of those days where you just can’t win, Eeyore?” asks Pooh. Owl sends the whole gang on a wild quest to save Christopher Robin from an imaginary culprit. It turns out to be a very busy day for a bear who simply set out to find some honey. Disney’s all-new “Winnie the Pooh” movie is inspired by three stories from A.A. Milne’s books in Disney’s classic, hand-drawn art.

I remember when my boys first saw the preview for Winnie the Pooh when it was coming out in theaters.. They were both so excited they were jumping up and down. The funny thing about that is, Brayden hasn't watched Winnie the Pooh since he was a toddler and Trevor has never seen any of the Pooh cartoons so I'm not really sure what they got all excited about.

I have always been a fan of Winnie the Pooh, especially Tigger, so when we were given the opportunity to review the upcoming new release I was thrilled. We sat down and watched it over the weekend and my boys loved it. Neither one of them moved throughout the entire movie, which is extremely rare!

Winnie the Pooh was cute and funny.. Pretty much exactly what I expected it to be. Within minutes of the start of the movie my boys were hooked by watching Pooh getting pulled around by his rumbling tummy. We really enjoyed this movie and will definitely watch it over and over again.

Winnie the Pooh will be available on Blu-ray, DVD, and movie download on October 25th. I would definitely recommend purchasing the Blu-ray which offers all kinds of bonus features including an exclusive bonus short “Mini-Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: The Balloon”, “The Ballad of Nessie” an animated short film, 5 deleted scenes, Sing-Along with the Movie, and Disney Song Selection.

Disclosure: I was provided with a Winnie the Pooh Blu-ray combo pack for review purposes. All opinions are my own.
