ALEX Toys Review and Giveaway *Closed*

ALEX toys has such a huge variety of toys including arts and crafts, games, styling products such as jewelry kits and beading, baby toys, and bath toys. My boys and I love every ALEX toy we've ever purchased. The quality of their toys is amazing and I love how much ALEX toys spark Brayden and Trevor's imaginations!
We recently got to review a couple of their bath toys and again, we were not let down by ALEX toys. As soon as the package arrived Brayden and Trevor were ready to hop in the tub and try out their new toys. We received the Hold It All- Whale and the Dirty Cars.

I was very excited about the Hold It All- Whale! We have so many bath toys and I can never seem to find anything big enough to hold everything.. Well let me tell you, the Hold It All- Whale is huge! It fit all of our bath toys and left some extra room for new bath toys as well. Not to mention that it's adorable!!
The boys loved the Dirty Cars! The set comes with two "dirty" cars and a car wash. When you dip the cars in warm water, the dirt disappears. The best part about the Dirty Cars is that the car wash has suction cups so you can attach it to the tub wall and leave it there and the cars sit right on it so you don't have to worry about getting them lost.
Brayden and Trevor had a blast with their new bath toys and have played with them every bath they've had since we got them! I think next we'll be buying the Dirty Dishes set that comes with 10 pieces of dishes and a dish rack.. Hopefully that will get my boys interested in doing the dishes for Mommy when they get a little older!!
To learn more about ALEX toys and see all of the amazing products they have, check out their website.

Super Blake and the Cavity Monster Review and Giveaway *Closed*

If there's one thing I've learned as a mom of two boys it's that boys love super heroes.. And not just boys, I think kids in general love super heroes. Tracy Bickhaus, author of "Super Blake and the Cavity Monster" was inspired by her son to create a series of books about a real-life super hero. "Super Blake and the Cavity Monster" is the first book in a series of eight. Personally, I think she did an amazing job with her first children's picture book!
"Super Blake and the Cavity Monster" is a rhyming book about a little boy with a big imagination. Super Blake is  a super hero who helps people when they are in need. His first battle as a super hero is against the Cavity Monster and his evil sidekicks, Ginger Vitis and Sir Plaque. The story goes on to encourage kids to conquer the Cavity Monster and his sidekicks by brushing your teeth twice a day and flossing.
I'm actually one of the lucky parents who has kids that love to brush their teeth (for now anyway) but I still like to remind them about the importance of healthy teeth and gums. I think this is a great book! My boys loved it. Trevor actually thought it was funny (what do you expect... He's 2 lol) and Brayden loved the drawings of the Cavity Monster and his sidekicks. We can't wait to see what Super Blake is up to in the rest of the series!

You can buy "Super Blake and the Cavity Monster" on superblakebooks.com for $5.95 or you can save 10% by ordering it off their Facebook page.

PetCakes Review and Giveaway *Closed*

PetCakes are a new collectible plush line created by Well Made™ Toy Manufacturing Corporation. Each PetCakes animal features a frosting hat and comes nestled in its own cupcake wrapper. They are a perfect toy for ages 3 and up (though my 2 year old loves them too). Their Series 2 collection includes 4 forest animals including Bamboo Berry the panda, Honey Cakes the bear, Nutty Nicky the squirrel, and Roco Coco the raccoon.
Bamboo Berry
 Honey Cakes
 Nutty Nicky
 Roco Coco
We received the series 2 collection to review and my boys fell in love with them as soon as they opened the package. PetCakes are so adorable! I love the fact that they can come out of their cupcake wrappers and just be plain plush pets, it's like they're two toys in one! PetCakes also have a Series 1 and a Series 1 mini's collection.. We'll probably be buying a set of each for Christmas this year!
My boys love their PetCakes so much, despite having hundreds of other stuffed animals (or pets as they call them) they sleep with their PetCakes every night! Brayden claimed Nutty Nicky and Roco Coco, which left Trevor with Honey Cakes and Bamboo Berry. Trevor carries his all over the house, which they're the perfect size for! They'd also be great to take on vacation and long trips since they won't take up much space in kids suitcases.
Brayden and Trevor love their PetCakes and I'm sure most kids their ages will too!! They're an animal and a cupcake all in one.. What's not to like about that?!?!

**Buy It**
Purchase your very own PetCakes on their website for $12.99. You can also buy them online at ToysRUs.com and Amazon.com.

Kidzikoo "Koozie for Kids" Review and Giveaway*Closed*

Kidzikoo was created by Lindsay Coleman last October when her son Landon was drinking cold milk out of his sippy cup and touched her face with his freezing cold hands. As a mom, I've definitely been there! Trevor carries his cup around for hours some days and his little hands are so cold when he finally decides to put it down.
What exactly is Kidzikoo?? It's a koozie for kids. Kidzikoo keeps cold beverages cold and warm beverages warm.. Perfect for hot summer days at the park or cold winter days sledding or building snow men! They also keep your little one's hands from getting cold and soak up condensation to prevent water rings on your table. Kidzikoos are soft and squishy to hold and they fit most 8-12 oz bottles and sippy cups.

Kidzikoo comes in 5 kid-friendly prints as seen below:

We were sent two Kidzikoos for review and my boys love them! We got the Drew print for Brayden because he loves monsters and the Taylor print for Trevor because he's an animal fanatic. The boys have been using their Kidzikoos on everything they drink lately and it's been so nice not to have Trevor run up to me wanting a hug with freezing cold hands!

**Buy It**
Purchase your own Kidzikoo on their website for $6.99

Terra Dolce Artisan Soaps Review

Terra Dolce first started in 2009 when the founder, Alison Cripps, was working as an esthetician in one of the world's leading spas. She started out making handmade soap bars for her co-workers then branched out to making body creams, oils, and scrubs. Now in 2011, Terra Dolce has launched it's "Around the World" product collection . The line consists of 5 scents which take you on a "vacation with every application".
Terra Dolce meaning "sweet earth" in Italian is inspired from products within the garden and around the world. Everything is handmade using 100% natural and chemical free ingredients and stored in eco-friendly packaging.
I was sent 3 of their garden soaps for review. Their handmade soaps are made of natural based plant oils, extracts and essential oils and come in 6 different scents.. Lavender Green Tea, Frankincense Myrrh, Basil Spearmint, Peppermint Jolt, Lemongrass, and Orange Clove. I absolutely love the Lemongrass, it's leaves a light lemon scent on your skin. The Peppermint is probably my least favorite simply for the fact that when I think of Peppermint I think of toothpaste and not soap. I also received the orange, which isn't too bad but again not exactly a soap scent.
When I first received the package, I was a little leery to try the soaps because the scents were so strong I thought they would be overpowering but they really weren't. They actually leave a faint smell on your skin, just enough that when you move around you can smell it but not enough to have to try to mask the smell with something else like lotion or perfume. To be completely honest I'm not usually a fan of bar soaps, I'm more of a body wash kinda girl but I've always wanted to try handmade soaps and I'm so glad I did. Though they do dry your skin out a little but so I probably won't continue to use them on my body but I think Terra Dolce soaps are great for hand soap!
To learn more about Terra Dolce products and to purchase your own soaps, body creams, scrubs, or oils check out their website. You can also follow them on twitter and Facebook.

Disclosure: I was provided with samples of Terra Dolce handmade soaps for this review. All opinions are my own.
