Letter Learning educational greeting cards Review

Brayden starts Kindergarten next month so we've spent the summer practicing writing his ABC's as well as his name. He learned basic writing skills in preschool last year but still needs some help forming certain letters as well as spacing them correctly. That's why I love Letter Learning educational greeting cards.

Letter Learning offers two different kinds of educational greeting cards for kids.. For the earliest writers (kids ages 4-9) they have their signature cards which give the most support with easy to trace, pre-printed messages. Kids improve handwriting, spelling, letter formation, reading, and writing with no stress. They even have new math cards that provide a little extra practice with basic facts. For the more experienced writers (kids ages 6-10+) they have their more advanced cards that provide just enough support to help with size and proportion.

All occasions variety pack:

With my husbands Birthday coming up next weekend, the Letter Learning Birthday cards are just perfect for Brayden to practice writing while giving his dad a nice, personalized card. Not only do they offer Birthday cards, but they also have Valentine's Day, Mother's and Father's Day, Christmas, Thank-You, and even Just Because cards. The Thank-You cards would have been perfect for Braydens last day of preschool to show his teachers how much he learned last year!

The Letter Learning cards are printed on heavyweight stock that is pencil, marker, and pen friendly. The quality is amazing and they even come with matching colored envelopes. They come wrapped in plastic sleeves for protection and are bundled and bowed for a nice touch!

You can buy Letter Learning educational greeting cards on They can be purchased in variety packs as well as individually. Shipping on any US order is just $1.49

Sprite Spark Parks Project and Giveaway *Closed*

It's so hard to believe my little boy will be starting Kindergarten in the fall. He'll be in school from 9am until 3:30pm.. That's a long day for a 5 year old!! I know recess will play such an important role in his school day, giving him a break from sitting in his classroom and letting him run around and play with his new friends.

It's sad to think that when budget cuts happen, playgrounds and sports programs are the first to disappear leaving students with limited space to let their imaginations run wild.. That is the reason Sprite has created the Sprite Spark Parks Project.

The Sprite Spark Parks Project is Sprite's multi-year commitment to bringing a 'spark' to active spaces within communities across the country. This year, Sprite will invest $2 million to construct, refurbish and creatively refresh more than 150 neighborhood parks, athletic fields, playgrounds and basketball courts. Ultimately, the goal is to give young people a chance to be physically active, inspire their imagination and create clean, safe and creative places to play for years to come.

The program is open to My Coke Rewards members who can enter for a chance to have their local school playground or athletic field refurbished. To submit your school, head to the My Coke Rewards for Schools Program and enter the point codes found on all Sprite and Sprite Zero products. If you are not yet a My Coke Rewards member, simply log on to and follow the prompts for new member registration.

Kidlandia Review

Kindlandia offers tons of personalized products for kids including placemats, growth charts, posters, puzzles, and even blankets and pillowcases. And they even have them in your childs favorite characters from Spongebob and Cars to Dora and Princesses.

I was given a gift code to purchase and personalize an item for my boys. Since they both love Spongebob I went with a Spongebob poster which has an underwater theme. The personalization process is so easy and fun! You get to choose which names, characters, plants, vehicles, and even birthdays you want to add to it. I was able to incorporate Brayden and Trevor as well as tons of other family members into the poster as the names of islands, reefs, lakes, etc.. And I even made them both their own treasure chests to find on the "map".

I had a lot of fun personalizing the Spongebob poster for my boys! I will definitely be doing some shopping at Kidlandia for Christmas gifts this year. Be sure to like Kidlandia on Facebook to stay up to date on products and sales.

Pocket Purifier Review and Giveaway *Closed*

Before I was a mom I was never really one to worry about germs but now that I have kids I've noticed how easy it is to catch a cold. The Pocket Purifier from Purely Products is a new handheld device that eliminates hidden germs and bacteria with no chemicals.

About the Pocket Purifier: The Pocket Purifier uses the same UV-C light used to sterilize surgical instruments to eliminate 99.9% of germs that cause colds, and flu, plus e-coli, salmonella, mold, and fungus. Powered by 4 AA batteries, the Pocket Purifier is operated by holding the device about one inch above the surface you want to clean for 10-15 seconds. A 4-watt germicidal ultraviolet light deactivates the DNA of bacteria, viruses and other pathogens destroying their ability to multiply and sanitizes the item you are trying to cleanse.

The Pocket Purifier is lightweight and easy to use so you can bring it anywhere. It's perfect to stick in your purse to sanitize public restrooms and changing tables. And the best thing about the Pocket Purifier, it's pink! They also sell it in black if you'd prefer.
The Pocket Purifier retails for $19.95 and can be purchased at and select retailers nationwide including Lowes, Petco, and Bed Bath & Beyond.

**Win It**
One of my readers will win a Pocket Purifier of their own.

Loopeez shoe tying aid Review and Giveaway *Closed*

I never realized how difficult it would be to teach a child how to tie shoes until a couple months ago. Right before Brayden's 5th Birthday we decided it was time for him to learn how to tie his own shoes. Little did I know, it wasn't as simple as I show you, now you do it. There's so much frustration involved.. From him not understanding and being able to do it as well as me not understanding why it's so difficult for him to figure it out.

Needless to say, we tried a few times and gave up.. Then I discovered LoopeezLoopeez shoe tying aids teach Kids how to tie shoes by accelerating the learning process and eliminating frustration. Loopeez easy grip is great for little fingers and the sleek design holds shoelaces in place making learning to tie shoes a breeze. With Loopeez shoe tying aids shoes stay tied longer and laces stay off the ground. It's a cool way for kids to tie their shoe laces and Loopeez comes in a large variety of designs making learning how to tie shoes fun!

Five easy to follow steps:
1. Start by crossing the laces over and pull tightly.
 2. Place Loopeez ShoeTying Aid on top of the twist.
3. Push one shoelace through the hole to form a loop
(careful not to pull all the way through).
4. Repeat with the other lace.
5. Cross “Bunny Ears” over to complete the bow.

Loopeez offers ten styles of shoe tying aids and an exclusive line of specialty shoelaces designed to work specifically with the Loopeez shoe tying system. We received the Skull & Croosbones style for review. As soon as they arrived Brayden was excited to give them a try. Within 5 minutes of using Loopeez, he was tying his shoes on his own!

I'm so amazed at how easy Loopeez made shoe tying! Hopefully by the time Kindergarten starts next month Brayden will be a pro at shoe trying and won't need Loopeez anymore, but for now I'm so glad we discovered them. I would definitely recommend Loopeez to anyone who's trying to teach their kids how to tie their shoes!

**Buy It**
You can purchase Loopeez on their website for $5.95

**Win It**
Loopeez has very generously offered one of my readers their own set of Loopeez in their choice of design.
