FyrFlyz Review and Giveaway *Closed*

FyrFlyz are some of the coolest new toys I've seen in a while and the great thing about them is they're easy to use! What are FyrFlyz? FyrFlyz ™ is the revolutionary new spinning toy where amazing LED lights shows come alive in the palm of your hands. By swinging the connected two strings and applying tension or slack, you can create a continuous movement and awesome tricks. Check out how to create the tricks at http://www.fyrflyzcom.

We were lucky enough to receive a few FyrFlyz to review thanks to FyrFlyz and MomSelect. My boys were so excited when they arrived that we had to immediately rip them out of the package. They're recommended for ages 8 and up, but Brayden is only 5 and had no trouble using them! FyrFlyz are perfect for playing outside on a warm summer night, or even indoors with the lights out.

FyrFlyz come in 3 different color combinations including blue and multicolor, white and green, and red and white. They are available at Toys R Us for $10 each and would make a great stocking stuffer!

Check out the video below to see FyrFlyz in action:

Chuggington "It's Training Time!" DVD Review and Giveaway *Closed*

"Join young trainees Wilson, Brewster and Koko in these six traintastic adventures. Watch as they learn how to pull a royal carriage, help Eddie repair the depot clock and take on the challenge of carrying passengers. Along the way, the trainees learn how to play fair, follow through on tasks, practice patience and help each other ride the rails of life. Your own little trainees will want to climb aboard and discover it all for themselves in It’s Training Time!"

Trevor's a very active little boy and doesn't really sit still long enough to watch an entire TV show, let alone movie.. He has a few shows that really catch his attention, one being Chuggington.. There's something about colorful, talking trains that he just loves! I was so thrilled when I was sent a copy of Chuggington's newest DVD "It's Training Time!" to review.

Chuggington is one of the few shows that I actually enjoy watching with my boys. The trainees are always getting in some kind of trouble and learning how to work together to solve the problems. Having two boys who love to fight, I like that they can watch a show that encourages them to play nice with each other.

"It's Training Time!" is available on DVD and would make a perfect Christmas or Birthday gift for the little train lover in your life! Like Chuggington on Facebook to stay up to date on all of their new episodes and DVD releases.

**Win It**
One lucky Life With Two Boys reader will win a copy of "It's Training Time!" on DVD.

To enter just use the Rafflecopter form below.. Be sure to do the mandatory entry or any extra entries will not count!

Great Big Outdoor Playball Review and HearthSong Giveaway *Closed*

I was recently contacted by HearthSong about reviewing one of their products on Life With Two Boys. Since my boys love to play outside, like most kids do, I decided I wanted to get them something new and exciting to play with before it gets too cold out.. That's when I discovered the Great Big Outdoor Playball!

The Great Big Outdoor Playball is part of HearthSong's active line. It's a 52" inflatable ball that kids can climb inside of. Along with the Great Big Outdoor Playball, HearthSong also offers a 65" Incred-A-Ball as well as the 36" GBOP Jr that's great for dodgeball.

When our Great Big Outdoor Playball arrived I really couldn't believe how big it was! I used an electric air pump to blow it up which was a bit of a pain because each individual section needs to be blown up separately causing it to take about 45 minutes to blow it up. I blew it up inside, not really thinking it was going to be so big, and I had a heck of a time trying to get it out the front door... But it was all worth it in the end!

At first Brayden and Trevor were a little hesitant about climbing inside, they thought they were going to get stuck.. But when they finally went in, they were in it for hours! The ball is very durable, it's been rolled all around the yard and climbed in and on by both my boys and it's still holding up very well!

The Great big Outdoor Playball can be purchased on for $59.98 or you can purchase the GBOP Jr. for $29.98. In my opinion, the Great Big Outdoor Playball is worth every penny and it's going to be a hit with my boys for quite some time!! Christmas is right around the corner and I don't know a single kid who wouldn't like to wake up to this under the tree.

**Win It**
Want to purchase a Great Big Outdoor Playball for your kids? HearthSong is offering one Life With Two Boys reader a $50 gift certificate that can be used to purchase anything on their site!

To enter just use the Rafflecopter form below.. Be sure to do the mandatory entry or any extra entries will not count!

Colortime Crafts Review and Facebook Fan Giveaway

Like most kids their age, my boys love to do crafts so I'm always thrilled to find new and exciting craft projects for them. I recently discovered Colortime Crafts and Markers and was sent a couple of their tote bags for review.

Colortime offers fun and easy crafts for kids. Their crafts are perfect for everyday projects with your kids and would also be great for camp activities, scouts, and birthday parties. Their products include t-shirts, tote bags, pillowcases, and backpacks to name a few. All are great do it yourself projects for kids that would make wonderful keepsakes!

For this review we received two Recycle Tote Bags for Brayden and Trevor to color. We all had a great time coloring them and when we were finished I wrote the date on a corner of each bag along with their names so that as they get older we can look back at them and we'll know when they were colored. With Halloween coming up these bags will be perfect for Trick-or-Treating!

Tote Bags can be purchased for $4.75 each at While you're there be sure to order some of their long lasting fabric markers too! Order before October 28th and save 15% by using the code 15for30C at checkout.

Off to School with Lunchbox Love Review and Giveaway *Closed*

Today is Brayden's first day of Kindergarten. I thought preschool had prepared me for this day but boy was I wrong! I locked myself in the bathroom several times this morning so Brayden couldn't see me crying.. I did a great job at the bus stop until the bus drove away... Then the water works started again!!!

I'm so proud of him though.. He got right on that bus without shedding a single tear.. Hopefully he comes home happy today!! Anyway.. On to the review... I recently discovered Lunchbox Love which I knew would be perfect to stick in Brayden's lunch box as a little surprise half way through the day, just kind of reminding him that Mommy loves him!

About Lunchbox Love: Busy parents and caregivers will love this easy yet meaningful way to share positive feelings and values with their children. Fun trivia on the back entertains. Positive words on the front enlighten. Each volume contains 12 cards--10 with different phrases and fun facts and 2 blanks so you can add a personal message. Credit-card size plastic case fits easily into a pocket, purse or on a countertop, making it easy to grab and give.

Lunchbox Love Notes say cute little phrases such as I believe in you, I will always love you- No matter what, I love your creativity, and other sentimental and encourages phrases on the front. The back has really neat trivia like Almonds are members of the peach family and Wrigley Field did not have lights until 1988. Each set also contains 2 blank cards so you can write whatever you want on them.. Since Brayden can't read I wrote on a blank card for him this morning.. I (heart) U!! That's how we always write I love you when drawing pictures and cards for people!
