Teddy Needs a Bath! Review and Giveaway *Closed*

My boys have always loved stuffed animals.. And because they love them so much they drag them around the house getting them filthy. Ever since Brayden was little I've been using a pillow case to wash stuffed animals, baby rattles, etc.. but I recently discovered Teddy Needs a Bath! and knew that was a much better solution.

Teddy Needs a Bath! washer and dryer bags are wonderful! They're large (20x30) enough to wash one huge stuffed animal or a dozen small ones. They're also eco-friendly and 100% cotton so they're very durable. The great thing about Teddy Needs a Bath! bags is that they remove allergens, dust mites, and even help prevent asthma!

These bags are super easy to use, just put the stuffed animals in the bag and throw it in the washer.. Once it's done just take the same bag and throw it in the dryer. The stuffed animals come out smelling fresh and looking clean! Teddy Needs a Bath! is by far the best solution I've seen for cleaning stuffed animals and I would definitely recommend them to anyone with infants and children!

Purchase a Teddy Needs a Bath! for yourself online at Bubbles of Laguna for $22.

**Win It**
One lucky Life With Two Boys reader will win their very own Teddy Needs a Bath! washer and dryer bag.

Buddy Fruits: Pure Fruit Bites Review

My boys are HUGE fans of fruit snacks.. I don't know what it is about them but they can't get enough. They especially love the character ones, but unfortunately they're not really all that healthy. Even though they're called "fruit snacks" they only contain about 20% real fruit.

I recently discovered Buddy Fruits and was very eager to give their Pure Fruit Bites a try. Buddy Fruits are made with 100% fruit, making them nutritious and healthy for my boys. These fruit snacks are only 95 calories per package and contain no artificial flavorings or colors and no preservatives.

Buddy Fruits Pure Fruit Bites come in a variety of flavors including orange, apple, raspberry, and pomegranate & acai. We received the orange and raspberry flavors for review. They are a little sticky but overall pretty good. Brayden and Trevor loved the orange Fruit Bites, however they didn't care for the raspberry ones. I thought they were both pretty good but the raspberry Fruit Bites are definitely more of an acquired taste where as the orange ones are nice and sweet like fruit snacks should be.

Along with the Pure Fruit Bites, Buddy Fruits also offer Pure Blended Fruit as well as Blended Fruit and Milk Smoothies (which sound delicious). All of their products can be purchased in stores nationwide including Walmart, Winn Dixie, and Publix to name a few as well as online at

Disclosure: I was provided with samples of Buddy Fruits Pure Fruit Bites for review purposes. All opinions are my own.

Affordable Scarves Review and Gift Certificate Giveaway *Closed*

I love anything that adds a pop of color to an outfit.. Whether it's a cami as a layering piece or a super cute circle scarf from Affordable Scarves.

I recently had the opportunity to review a scarf from and I absolutely love it! I chose the  Elaine Skinny Scarf in blue. This scarf has a really cute geometric print and is crinkled for a little added character. Not only can it be used as a regular around the neck scarf but because it's skinny it's perfect as a headscarf!

What's great about Affordable Scarves is that they truly are affordable. They're having a Summer Sale right now where you can save 15% off sitewide using the code SUMMER11 at checkout making them even more affordable! Don't let the prices fool you though.. The quality of these scarves is amazing! I will definitely be investing in a scarf or two in lovely fall colors for the upcoming season.

Aeropostale: My Favorite Clothing Store

I had Brayden when I was 21 years old so I became a mom pretty young. After I had him I had a horrible time trying to find clothes that fit right that didn't look like "mom" clothes. I struggled with this for a few years until after I had Trevor. After he was born, I decided since I was done having kids it was time to feel good about the way I looked.

One day when we were at the mall I noticed Aeropostale was having a big sale on tank tops, which I pretty much live in year round, so I decided to stop in and give them a try. I wore Aeropostale clothes when I was a teen but I figured there was no way anything from that clothing store would still fit me since I was a mom.. Well luckily I was wrong.

Their bootcut jeans are by far my favorite. You can get them in light or dark colors, with distressing or without. I love a little distressed look so I usually go for them.. My husband doesn't understand why I pay to have people put holes in my jeans, but he just doesn't get it! My other favorite clothing item from Aeropostale is definitely their boytanks. They are perfect for wearing alone during the summer or as a layering piece as the weather gets cooler.

If you're looking for a clothing store with clothes that are hip enough for teens or moms you should definitely head to your nearest mall and check out Aeropostale or stay home and take a look at!

Designerliners Decorative Trash Bags Review and Giveaway *Closed*

I have used grocery store bags in my bathroom trash cans for as long as I can remember.. That's what my Mom and my Grandmother did so when I moved out into my own place that's what I did! Well, it may be good for the environment to re-use those bags, but it's not very pretty.. That's why I'm glad I discovered Designerliners!

Designerliners are stylish biodegradable trash bags that can beautify any room in the home. The bags come in ten different color/pattern combinations; Pink Polka Dot, Orange Polka Dot, Navy Blue Polka Dot, Red Gingham, Gold Gingham, Black Leopard, Blue Leopard, Red Toile, Blue Toile, and Black Tattersol.

Don't get me wrong, I'll still re-use plastic grocery bags for changing the litter box for example but I will not use them in my bathroom trash can anymore! Designerliners are cute, stylish, and biodegradable.. Not to mention durable. They come in different patterns and colors so you can coordinate them with every room in the house.. I love that!

Michelle Vallene
This is a Book of the Year Award finalist!

Your Child's First Reading Teacher Is ... YOU! "What Children Need to Learn to READ" is the ultimate resource for parents and other adults who want to encourage literacy in young children. Packed with age-appropriate tips, techniques, fun activities, checklists, and common-sense suggestions, this one-of-a-kind book will answer your questions, boost your confidence, and prepare you for one of the most rewarding things you'll ever do!! Brayden started Kindergarten this year which means it's time for him to start learning how to read. I discovered "What Children Need to Learn to READ" and thought it would be perfect for us! This book has everything including baby and toddler games, letters and sounds, and sight words.

Brayden knows his letters and sounds so we started the book at Chapter 8 which is Sight Words. I started out making flash cards that can be downloaded from, then we played a couple games of go fish which is one of the activities mentioned in the book. I was really surprised to learn how many sight words Brayden already knows!

I'm excited to finish out the rest of the book with Brayden and see how much it helps with learning to read.. Then I'm going to start working on it with Trevor using the toddler games and songs that are suggested in the book. We also received a CD with Rhymes and Songs such as Old MacDonald, Pop Goes the Weasel and other fun songs which are great for learning in the car!

Rafflecopter Round-Up Sponsor Spotlight: RoomMates Peel & Stick Decor

Life With Two Boys has joined Makobi Scribe and Simply Stacie as well as several other bloggers to participate in the upcoming Rafflecopter Round-Up giveaway event. This event is taking place September 21-25 and will be featuring only giveaways that are using the Rafflecopter entry form. I've been using Rafflecopter for giveaways for a while now and love it.. So there was no question that I wanted to join in this event.

I am so thrilled to announce my sponsor for this event.. RoomMates Peel and Stick Decor! RoomMates is actually located about 15 minutes away from me but I've never been there. I discovered their website a few months ago when I was searching for chalkboard wall decals and didn't even realize they were so close to me until I contacted them about sponsoring a review and giveaway on my blog.

RoomMates offers all different kinds of wall decals including chalkboard and dry erase, peel & stick mirrors, wall murals, and even laptop skins. I've searched tons of other websites looking for wall decals for the boys room and they have the most diverse selection by far! I received the Rock Star Chalkboard Wall Decal to review before the event.. It's a chalkboard guitar decal that you can actually write on with chalk.. How cool is that?!

Fiber One 90 calorie Chewy Bars Review and Prize Pack Giveaway *Closed*

I have a horrible habit of snacking on unhealthy foods when I'm hungry. When I try to eat a healthy snack it always seems that I'm hungry again less than an hour later.. That's when I reach for some kind of snack cake to fill me up. I was recently sent a prize pack from MyBlogSpark including a package of Fiber One 90 calorie Chocolate Chewy Bars as well as a black cosmetic case, pop-out hairbrush, compact mirror and a tine of mints.

I was very excited to give the chewy bars a try because I've been trying to lose weight and have been searching for yummy low calorie snacks. Let me just say, these bars are delicious! Even my husband liked them and he can't stand anything that's low fat or low calories! The chocolate was just enough to fulfill my chocolate cravings and the bar actually filled me up.. Which is really what I was hoping for!!

Here are some interesting facts according to a survey by Fiber One Bars:
*75 percent of women say they fall victim to unhealthy foods when hunger pangs hit, and they don´t have access to a meal
*If healthy snacks aren´t readily available, women would most likely eat chips/crackers (50%), a candy bar (33%), popcorn (33%), or a fast-food burger (23%)

I know I personally am one of those women.. How about you?? It's probably the worst when I'm out shopping and I get hungry.. I automatically reach for a candy bar or cookies because I never think to stash a healthy snack in my purse. Well from now on I will definitely keep Fiber One 90 calorie Chewy Bars on hand.. They taste great, satisfy my hunger, and will help me reach my weight loss goal!

**Win It**
How would you like to try Fiber One 90 calorie Chocolate Chewy Bars for yourself? Well I have great news.. One Life With Two Boys reader will win a prize pack exactly like the one I received for this review.

Mixbook Custom Flat Card Review

All of my family, with the exception of my husband and my boys, live at least 600 miles away from me so I'm always looking for a new way to keep them up to date with photos of Brayden and Trevor. I was recently given the opportunity to review 5x7 custom photo cards from Mixbook.

Mixbook offers all sorts of different custom photo cards including wedding invitations, birth announcements, and even Christmas cards to name a few. I didn't really have a theme in mind so I decided to start from scratch with a blank canvas. I got to choose my own backgrounds, frame styles, stickers, and most importantly which photo's I wanted to add.

My finished project:

This was my first time ordering from Mixbook so I wasn't really sure what to expect when they arrived, but I was very pleased! The shipping was super fast and the quality is just amazing. The price is great starting at just 49 cents per card and they even come with premium white envelopes.

I would definitely recommend Mixbook for the next time you're in need of a custom photo card.. Be sure to like them on Facebook and follow on Twitter for all the latest news and deals.

Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
