Kidtoons Spookley the Square Pumpkin Prize Pack Giveaway *Closed*

This month Kidtoons is proud to present: Spookley the Square Pumpkin!

October is National Bullying Prevention Month and Spookley the Square Pumpkin has been named the official Spokes-Pumpkin through a partnership with PACER Center. PACER, a national organization based in Minneapolis, Minn., works to expand opportunities and enhance the quality of life of all children and young adults, including those with any disability, and their families, based on the concept of parents helping parents . "The culture of bullying won't end until people across the country take action and show children and teens that they care," says Julie Hertzog, director of PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center, which sponsors the month. "We love the way Spookley touches the heart and the mind with his message of tolerance and acceptance."

Synopsis: In a world where "the only good pumpkins are round pumpkins," Spookley the Square Pumpkin is often teased by the other pumpkins because of his square shape. Soon, Spookley is befriended by Edgar, Allan and Poe, three hilarious spiders, who convince Spookley that, square or not, he has a right to be the "Pick of the Patch" on Halloween. A square pumpkin the "Pick of the Patch"? Not if mean round pumpkins Big Tom and Little Tom can help it. These two bullies tease and taunt Spookley because of his square roots. Although he is encouraged to continue to become the "Pick of the Patch" by kindly Jack Scarecrow and his bat sidekicks, Boris and Bella, Spookley isn't sure he has what it takes until a mighty storm threatens to destroy the entire patch. As the storm rolls the round pumpkins across the patch towards a raging river below, Spookley's square shape helps him save the day. Spookley realizes "it's fine to be round while the weather is fair, but there are times it's better to be a square!"

If you're looking for a unique handmade gift you should definitely check out EeeBeeDee. Emily, owner of EeeBeeDee, specializes in handmade plush creations including puzzles, toast, owls, and candy to name a few.

We were sent a mini plush puzzle to review and to say it's unique would be a bit of an understatement.. It's like something I've never seen before. The boys love it though!  It's a plush puzzle that can actually be put together. Each piece has a face and a personality making it a pretty cool toy.
All of EeeBeeDee's plush puzzles are one of a kind pieces. They are made from felt and hand stitched and embroidered. The puzzle we received is very well made and seems to be very durable. You can purchase a super mini plush puzzle (which is slightly smaller than the mini) for $16 right now on etsy.

**Win It**
One Life With Two Boys reader will win a mini plush puzzle similar to the one I received.

Etsy Week: BAM Crafty Mommas Chalkboard Mat Review and Giveaway *Closed*

When it comes to gifts for my boys and my niece and nephews I like to think outside the box and get them them things that really let them use their imagination. Toys are great, but sometimes it's the simple things like coloring books and crayons or chalkboards. I got really excited the day I came across these chalkboard mats from BAM Crafty Mommas and knew I had to feature them this week.

Chalkboard mats are such a neat idea to have to take along to restaurants, doctors offices, while going on vacation, or even just to use at your kitchen table. Each chalkboard mat has two elastic loops, a smaller one to hold a piece of chalk, and a larger one to roll the mat up so you can throw it in your purse or diaper bag and take on the go.

Along with the chalkboard mats, BAM Crafty Mommas also offer premade scrapbooks, paper and fabric party banners, reusable coffee cozy's/sleeves, baby bibs, and blankets and burp cloths. All of which are handmade.

(Love this coffee cozy!)

We received two of the chalkboard mats for review and Brayden and Trevor love them. They especially love the cool guitar and dinosaur fabric designs on the back! I like that when they're all done drawing they can easily erase their pictures and start over again without wasting a million sheets of paper. You can purchase your own chalkboard mats with several different fabrics to choose from for only $8.

**Win It**
One lucky Life With Two boys reader will win 2 chalkboard mats in their choice of fabrics.

Etsy Week: Angela Ingram Hand Carved Votive Review and Giveaway *Closed*

I was on the search for the perfect fall decor when I came across this hand carved leaf votive candle holder from Angela Ingram. It's such a cute candle holder for your home or to give as a gift.

Along with the leaf votive holder, Angela Ingram also offers yarn bowls, personalized mugs and vases, spoon rests, jewelry holders, and all sorts of other hand throw porcelain items. Whether you're shopping for the knitter, coffee drinker, or even the party thrower you're sure to find the perfect gift at Angela Ingram's etsy shop!

I think what I love best about everything in Angela Ingram's shop is that no two items are exactly the same because they are hand made. There's no two identical leaves on the votive holder and no two mugs will be exact, though they are made to look like they belong in the same "family" and can be made to have the same design.

You can purchase a hand carved leaf votive holder for $12. Because they are hand made to order, they do take a little longer to arrive, but in my opinion they are well worth it!

**Win It**
One reader will win a Hand Carved Leaf Votive Candle Holder similar to the one I received for the review.

The Lazy Owl has traditional princess crowns with jewels, stars, numbers, rocket ship, and even Buzz Lightyear crowns. For this review we went with a traditional crown with blue stars, very simple yet adorable! Etsy Week: Yellow Horse Art Studio Stuffed Animals Review and Giveaway *Closed*

While browsing etsy one day I saw this really cute platypus from Yellow Horse Art Studio and thought about how much my boys love Perry the Platypus from Phineas and Ferb and what a great idea it would be to get them a stuffed Perry.. So I contacted Anneke, owner of Yellow Horse Art Studio and asked if she'd be able to make a teal platypus that looked liked Perry. She was delighted to make a custom platypus for my boys.

Yellow Horse Art Studio offers all sorts of handmade stuffed animals including horses, owls, bunnies, dragons, and turtles, to name a few. Etsy Week: Just a Mama Car Caddy Review and GC Giveaway *Closed*

I've mentioned before that my boys love Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars, especially Trevor. He likes to grab handfuls of them on the way out the door so he can play with them in the car and while shopping. Usually I'm stuck with several loose cars in my purse at the end of the day but thanks to Just a Mama I've found the perfect solution.. A car caddy!

Just a Mama offers car, train, super hero and even Zhu Zhu caddy's as well as headbands, diaper clutches, and personalized shirts and onesies in her etsy shop. With two boys I could make use out of any of the caddy's she makes but I especially love the car caddy's.

Similar to a crayon roll, a car caddy has 6 little pockets and a velcro strap to secure it when rolled. When rolled it's the perfect size to throw in your purse or diaper bag to take along to restaurants, doctors offices, airports, etc... and pull it out when your little guy(s) gets bored!

Trevor loves his new car caddy and I'm sure your little guy will too! You can purchase a handmade car caddy from Just a Mama for $18 and for an extra $3.99 you can personalize it with your childs name.

**Win It**
One Life With Two Boys reader will win a $20 gift certificate to purchase anything from Just a Mama's etsy shop.

I was browsing pookaberrys one day and just fell in love with their selection of candles.. Most of which don't even look like candles, like this one for example:

There's so much detail that goes into each and every Pookaberry Candle, it's almost a shame to burn them. I was sent a pumpkin pie candle to review and it smells as good as it looks.
