Heelys Review

Brayden has wanted a pair of Heelys for the past couple of years after seeing his older cousins cruising around on them. So when I learned that Business2Blogger was looking for reviewers as part of their Heelys Campaign I jumped on the opportunity to get a pair.

Not familiar with Heelys? Heelys are the two-in-one shoe that lets you take life at your own pace. With the wheels out, the stylish designs perform and look just like any other shoe. When you easily put the wheels in, you roll at a different speed. Heelys are about exploring your freedom, unleashing the fun and empowering you to be fearless.

Brayden was so excited to try out his Double Threat Heelys as soon as they arrived. We put his Heelys on and my husband guided him around, letting Brayden hold onto his arm to get the feel of things. We've been working on Brayden using his Heelys all by himself, but unfortunately it's taking a little longer than we expected. I don't know if it's lack of coordination on his part or the fact that he's only 5 years old, but either way he still hasn't quite figured it out yet. The great thing about Heelys is that the wheels come out, so when we're not practicing he can still wear his Heelys on a daily basis.

Though Brayden quite hasn't mastered his Heelys yet, I would definitely still recommend them to others. They're very stylish and lots of fun for older kids and even adults! Heelys come in all sorts of styles and sizes for boys and girls, as well as men and women. Just remember, stay safe when wearing your Heelys.. Check out the Heelys Playbook to view the equipment checklist and safe skating guidelines.

If you're excited to try them out for yourself or but them for your kids for Christmas then you should listen to this great deal.. Heelys is throwing a Black Friday special!! Between Nov 25-Nov 28, Buy any pair of Heelys, get the second pair for $25. Or buy a Nano, and get a pair of shoes for $25, and get free ground shipping on all orders!

Can't wait until Black Friday? Heelys are such a great price that you don't need to wait until then. You can purchase a pair today for as low as $49.99 at Journeys Kids, Zappos, or Amazon.com.

Holiday Baking with Land O Lakes "Eggstraordinary" Eggs

The Holidays are fast approaching and that means baking all kinds of goodies for your family. Whether you're having Thanksgiving dinner at home or at a relatives house it's always nice to share some yummy cookies or a delicious pumpkin pie with loved ones. This year you should try baking those yummy treats with Land O Lakes "eggstraordinary" eggs.

LAND O LAKES® Eggs are backed by more than 90 years of experience in delivering premium, quality dairy foods that families can trust. All LAND O LAKES® Eggs are “eggstraordinary,” because they are produced by hens fed a premium vegetarian whole grain diet consisting primarily of whole ground corn and soybean meal, with no added hormones, antibiotics, animal fats or animal by-products. These eggs are gathered at the peak of the hens’ egg-laying cycles, which can make the eggs more delicious.

So much holiday baking involves eggs. Below is one of my favorite recipes using Land O Lakes all-natural eggs. These cookies are super easy to make and taste delicious. When making these cookies don't forget to let the little one's help out by cutting out the shapes and putting on the frosting and sprinkles!

Weight Watchers Smart Ones Satisfying Selections Review

Every once in a while I get on a kick where I need to start eating healthy. Usually that only lasts for about a week because I get so tired of eating "healthy" foods that taste horrible, or have no taste at all. Recently I was sent coupons to try two varieties of the new Weight Watchers Smart Ones Satisfying Selections, and to be completely honest i'm very pleased with these new meals.

The new Smart Ones bagged meals are available in five delicious flavors including Sesame Chicken, Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo, Ziti with Meatballs & Cheese, Chicken with Broccoli & Cheese, Chicken Teriyaki Stir Fry. The two I tried were Chicken with Broccoli & Cheese and Chicken Teriyaki Stir Fry. Both taste great, especially the Chicken Teriyaki Stir Fry which had a bold teriyaki flavor.

A few of my favorite facts about the new Smart Ones Satisfying Selections: All of the Smart Ones Satisfying Selections flavors are less than 400 calories and contain 25 grams or more of protein. They're 30% larger than traditional tray meals so you don't still feel hungry after eating them, unlike most weight loss meals. They're super easy to make, by steaming them in the microwave or cooking them on the stove top. And best of all the price is reasonable at only $3.69 a meal you can lose weight without breaking the bank!

If you're anything like me and it's hard for you to stick to a weight loss routine i'd definitely recommend checking out Weight Watchers Smart Ones Satisfying Selections. Weight Watchers Smart Ones Satisfying Selections are available nationwide.. To see if they're in a store near you check out their product locator. Before heading to the store don't forget to print this coupon for $1.00 off any 5 Weight Watchers Smart Ones products.

Disney Cars 2 Review

Cars 2
Available on Blu-ray & DVD today!

Synopsis: Star racecar Lightning McQueen and the incomparable tow truck Mater take their friendship to exciting new places in “Cars 2” when they head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix to determine the world’s fastest car. But the road to the championship is filled with plenty of potholes, detours and hilarious surprises when Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage. Mater finds himself torn between assisting Lightning McQueen in the high-profile race and towing the line in a top-secret mission orchestrated by master British super spy Finn McMissile and the stunning rookie field spy Holley Shiftwell. Mater’s action-packed journey leads him on an explosive chase through the streets of Japan and Europe, trailed by his friends and watched by the whole world. The fast-paced fun includes a colorful new all-car cast, complete with menacing villains and international racing competitors.

Our thoughts: Both of my boys are huge fans of the first Cars movie so they were super excited to see Cars 2. My husband and I sat down with Brayden and Trevor this past weekend and watched Cars 2 as a family. My husband doesn't usually like to watch kids movies but he liked the first Cars so he was almost as excited as my boys were to see Cars 2.

I don't want to go as far as to say that Cars 2 was better than the first because they were both great movies but I will say they were very different. Cars 2 was a lot more suspenseful and action packed than the first one was. Trevor loves Mater so it was nice to see him as the "star" of Cars 2, unlike the first Cars where it was more about Lightening McQueen.

We really enjoyed this movie and if you have any Cars fans I would definitely recommend picking up Cars 2 for them! You can purchase the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack for $24.99 at Amazon.com.

The Land of Nod Fast Track Review and Giveaway *Closed*

If you're not familiar with The Land of Nod, they are an online store that offers all sorts of kids products including tons of toys and gifts, furniture, bedding, storage, baby nursery decor and gear, and even fun Holiday decor.

I was recently contacted by The Land of Nod about reviewing one of their new Holiday 2011 products right here at Life With Two Boys. To say the least, I was thrilled and chose the new Fast Track for my boys. Fast Track is a wooden zigzag slope that comes with three single cars and 3 connected cars that can race down the slope. It's the perfect toy for ages two and up, which means it's the perfect toy for my boys.

When our Fast Track arrived Brayden and Trevor were so excited to try it out. Having two boys who love cars I knew this would be a big hit with them, and I was right! They took turns racing the different cars down the slope, checking to see which one's were the fastest. We've had this toy for about two weeks now and they still enjoy playing with it just as much as they did that first day we took it out of the package.
