The Big Year Movie Review

The Big Year
Available on Blu-ray and DVD Today (Jan. 31st)!

Synopsis: Let the fowl play begin! Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment presents the story of a competitive trio who quickly turn a simple quest into the ultimate competition when THE BIG YEAR spreads its wings on Blu-ray and DVD January 31.

Steve Martin, Jack Black and Owen Wilson portray three men from very different walks of life, facing a mid-life crisis, a work-life crisis and a no-life crisis. In the biggest competition of their lives, they undertake an unforgettable trek through North America, engaging in hilarious and bizarre adventures and forming friendships that will last a lifetime!

My Thoughts: Because of the awesome line up of comedic actors I was really expecting this movie to be hilarious, but to be completely honest it wasn't very funny at all which was actually kind of disappointing. I started off watching the movie not really knowing what to expect since I'm not much of a bird person but I was overall pleased with it. The movie managed to keep my attention because of the suspense of who was going to beat the big year record. While I was really hoping this movie was going to be funnier, I did enjoy it and would probably watch it again.
