When it comes to buying gifts for my boys there's two things I generally look for... Something that encourages them to use their imagination or something that allows them to be creative. With cardboard playhouses from My Very Own House creativity and imagination go hand in hand.

My Very Own House offers a variety of cardboard playhouses that kids can color with markers (which are included) making it like two toys in one. They can spend one day coloring their playhouse and the next day(s) playing inside of it. These playhouses are perfect for winter months and rainy days when kids can't play outside.

We were sent the My Very Own House castle to review and it has become a big hit in our house. It did take me a little while to assemble it but now that I know exactly what I need to do it's a cinch to re-assemble when the boys want to use it. We don't have a huge house with a playroom so this playhouse is perfect for us since it's easy to un-fold it and store it when not in use.

The castle can fit both boys and myself so I could only imagine how big the larger cottage and show houses are.
