When it comes to buying gifts for my boys there's two things I generally look for... Something that encourages them to use their imagination or something that allows them to be creative. With cardboard playhouses from My Very Own House creativity and imagination go hand in hand.
We were sent the My Very Own House castle to review and it has become a big hit in our house. It did take me a little while to assemble it but now that I know exactly what I need to do it's a cinch to re-assemble when the boys want to use it. We don't have a huge house with a playroom so this playhouse is perfect for us since it's easy to un-fold it and store it when not in use.
My Very Own House offers smaller playhouses including the castle and grocery store and larger playhouses including the cottage and show house. Since the castle is one of their smaller playhouses I was worried it wouldn't be big enough for Brayden and Trevor to play comfortably but I was wrong! The castle can fit both boys and myself so I could only imagine how big the larger cottage and show houses are.
My Very Own House playhouses are perfect for toddlers, preschoolers, and even kindergarteners and first graders too! You can currently purchase the cottage from MyVeryOwnHouse.com for $39.90 and you can see the rest of their playhouses on their Facebook page.
One lucky Life With Two Boys reader is going to win their choice of playhouse from My Very Own House.
