Coffee cups for the eco-conscious from Repurpose Compostables

As I've mentioned before I'm working on becoming more eco-friendly so I've been switching out a few of my favorite products for green ones. Recently I was introduced to Repurpose Compostables who just so happen to make the word's greenest coffee cup and I was thrilled when they sent me a pack to review.

I'm not actually a coffee drinker but I love my cappuccino and I especially love taking it with me to the bus stop on cold mornings but styrofoam cups and even regular paper cups are not very eco-friendly... That's where Repurpose Compostables comes in.

Most insulated cups are made by adding additional layers of paper, but the Repurpose insulated hot cup use their patented insulation material on a single wall cup, making them more environmentally friendly. The technology behind the cups keeps hot drinks warmer longer and also prevents heat from escaping without the need of sleeves or double-cupping. Their insulated cup is also chlorine free and uses soy-based inks, but best of all these cups generate less CO2 than a traditional paper cup when produced due to it’s Ingeo lining, and can be composted in 90 days.

Repurpose Compostables are perfect for eco-minded business people, moms, and college students who need to use disposables but would like to lessen their impact on the environment. Whether you're the most eco-conscious person there is or are just starting out on your path to a greener life, Repurpose is here to help!

Available at a great price of $4.99 for 12 cups and 12 lids, Repurpose Compostables are carried at Bed, Bath and Beyond, Amazon and Gelson's.
