Since I became a mom I've discovered that it's so hard and frustrating to find swimwear that is attractive, yet covers all of my insecurities. I need something that will support the "girls", hide my battle wounds (aka stretch marks), and even camouflage that unsightly tummy bulge, but I don't want it to look like a moo moo. Luckily, Essential Swimwear offers a variety of modest tankinis that are comfortable, stylish, flattering, and best of all- affordable!
I was recently sent an adorable Plum Ruched Halter Top with matching Plum High Waist Bottoms to review. First of all the color of this suit is to die for! It's the perfect color purple that really compliments any skin tone. The ruching of the top is perfect for those imperfections and insecurities that I want covered, plus it allows you to totally customize the length depending on how little or how much you want to bunch it up. What I love about this top though is the support that it offers thanks to the thick halter straps... I can run around with my boys and not have to worry about my top falling down or my girls popping out!
The high waist bottoms are my absolute favorite! You can wear them high waisted to provide more tummy coverage, or you can fold the waistband down to create a hipster bottom... Basically you can personalize the whole suit to fit your mood on any particular day. If you're feeling sexy one day you can bunch up the top and fold down the bottoms, or if you're feeling not so sexy you can leave the top long and the bottoms high... The possibilities are endless!
This has become my favorite swim suit and I'm sure it will be hard to top! If you're uncomfortable with your body and want a suit that flatters, or you're simply looking for a nice comfortable suit, you should definitely consider the Ruched Halter Top and High Wait Bottoms from Essential Swimwear... And because the prices are so affordable (ARV $56 for this amazing swimsuit!) you can order it in all of your favorite colors!
