I have officially been on Nutrisystem for one week! I'm not going to lie, it's been rough... I started off my first week strong, feeling as if nothing could stop me from reaching my goal, but as the week went on I really struggled with the fact that I couldn't eat and drink whatever I wanted whenever I wanted to.
Don't get me wrong, Nutrisystem is by far the most lenient diet program I've ever been on, but it is still a diet program... That means no daily candy bar, no bowls of ice cream before bed, and no corn dogs and french fries for dinner.
So what do you get to eat on Nutrisystem? Well, pretty much all of your favorite foods, just a healthier version with smaller portions. You get to eat things like chocolate muffins for breakfast, red beans and rice for lunch, pizza for dinner, and even creamy fudge bars (think fudgesicles) for dessert... Not to mention you get to eat a variety of add-ins such as fruits, veggies, yogurt, cheese, nuts, meat, etc... for added carbs and proteins.
I've definitely struggled with drinking the recommended amounts of water and I'm no where near able to give up my daily dose of Mt. Dew, which for me is like most people's coffee, but overall I'm really satisfied with what I've been able to accomplish in one week!
So, what's the weight loss verdict for week 1?
Starting weight: 184
Week #1 weigh-in: 180
Total lost this week: 4 pounds YAY!!
