I absolutely loved Raggedy Ann and Andy when I was a little girl. In fact, my brother and I even dressed up as them one year for Halloween (can you say obsessed, LOL). Unfortunately I didn't hold onto my Raggedy Ann doll to pass down to my boys, but thanks to Aurora, the classic dolls are back!
Not familiar with Raggedy Ann and Andy? Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy were created by Johnny Gruelle in 1918 for his daughter, Marcella. Each of the ragdolls are handmade with fine facial features in soft brown tones and yarn hair and each features the traditional embroidered "I Love You" heart on their chest. These ragdolls are soft and huggable and are made to be loved, treasured, and passed along for generations.
We were recently sent a Raggedy Ann doll from Aurora to review and boy did that bring me back. I remembered instantly how much I loved Raggedy Ann when I was a girl and couldn't wait to share that memory with my boys. In all honestly, I had completely forgotten about my beloved ragdoll and never even talked about her with my boys until now.
