Nutrisystem Weigh-In Week #21

If you've been reading my weekly Nutrisystem posts you know that I've been stuck in a bit of a rut for about a month now. It started with stress at home and escalated to me stressing about my weight loss (or lack thereof). Well, I decided it was time for me to take a break! I took a week off of the program and allowed myself to eat some of the food I've been craving and try to remind myself why I wanted to start the program in the first place.

Honestly, Taking a break was the best decision I have made in a while. I remembered why I wanted to start Nutrisystem... It wasn't because I wanted to lose tons of weight, it was because I wanted to eat healthier and feel comfortable with my body. Somehow I lost sight of that along the way, it turned into how much weight have I lost, then why aren't I losing any weight, then just total frustration.

Well, It took a week and gaining a pound but I'm recharged and I'm back on the program! I've already lost 20 pounds on Nutrisystem and I feel so much better about myself, so I've decided that I'm going to make the most of the program while I can! I have two months left and I'm super excited to see the outcome when all is said and done. If I don't lose any more weight, I'm fine with that... And if I do reach my goal, then of course I'm fine with that too.

Now I know that I need to remember what I've accomplished so far and remember that it's not all about the numbers... It's about how you feel!

It sounds like you really have made it work for you! 20 lbs is a big deal. I think everyone needs a 'rest' after awhile, though you gained a pound you're on the right track!

I do a lot of blended veggie and fruit smoothies.
