Inspire Creativity with the Little Tikes iTikes Canvas {Holiday Gift Guide 2012}

This day and age every household is filled with the latest gadgets and technology so it's no wonder that kids are obsessed with the latest gadgets as well. A lot of companies are taking technology to the next level and are even creating toys for kids to use with iPads, iPhones, etc... Well, Little Tikes has developed what I believe to be one of the best app toys there is... The iTikes Canvas!

What makes the iTikes Canvas so great? Well, I personally love it because it's a modern version of a classic... The beloved magnetic doodler! But what sets the iTikes Canvas apart from the rest is the fact that it's two fun toys in one. First, you have the magnetic doodler which is so great on it's own but you can also attach an iPad and expand the play with magic coloring pages and interactive games for hours of creative fun.

We were recently sent an iTikes Canvas to review and it was an automatic hit with my boys. Of course they love the magnetic doodler but they have always wanted something fun to use with the iPad and this was just perfect for them. It's super easy to use... Simply attach the iPad, download the FREE app, and start playing! Kids can color, draw, stamp, make fun sound effects and music, and when all is said and done they can save their masterpiece and even share it with family and friends online.

Now, we do not own an iPad (I know it's hard to believe right?!) so that's why I love the fact that you don't have to use an iPad with the iTikes Canvas to have fun with it. We use it as a magnetic doodler when we're at home then when we visit the in-laws we take the canvas with us and Brayden and Trevor can have a different kind of fun with the canvas at their house. It's a great way to ensure that they never get bored with the toy!

The iTikes Canvas is definitely a hot commodity this holiday season but if you're lucky enough to find one I would definitely suggest picking one up for your kiddos! It's available at a great price of $39.99 and I'm sure your kids will love it just as much as mine do!

Be sure to come back between November 12th and 22nd for your chance to win an iTikes Canvas during the Christmas Gifts for Kids Giveaway Hop!

It's really neat that it connects with the ipad. My girls would want to go to their Aunts all the time to hook it up (we don't own an ipad, either,lol)

i love that you don't have to have an ipad to use it but for those times that you need their attention captive for a few more minutes you can use it.

I think this is neat, as well as their Little Styx products. They seem very adaptable for different creations.

My great grand daughter would love this. Shes just at that age.
Artistic talent runs in the family. This will be really nice to take along and keep her occupied at the doctors office or such.
I like that she could make sounds and music with it too. Thanks for the nice review for it

I like that you do not need to use an iPad with it to have fun. I know my daughter loves to doodle, so she'd have a bunch of fun with it no matter what! I'm glad you gave it a great review!

Would love this even more if they had an Android app to use with Android tablets! Definitely a neat idea though.

My Grandson spends alot of time in the car, this would be perfect to keep him occupied. At home it would keep him from wanting to play on our phones and computers. And the idea that he would have his own apps is fantastic.
