Wonder Forge Preschool Games- Perfect Gifts for the Kids on Your List! {Holiday Gift Guide 2012}

My boys love to play board games, but sometimes games can be far too complicated for them to play even if they're within the recommended age group. Well, I recently discovered Wonder Forge preschool games and boy am I glad I did!

About:
Wonder Forge's preschool sub-brand I Can Do That! Games fosters self-confidence by celebrating the "can do" in every kid. Favorite characters come to life—challenging kids to run, slide, hide, seek, sort, explore—and more! By engaging kids physically, creatively, and socially, I Can Do That! Games provide endless hours of fun for the whole family.

These preschool games are based on your kids favorite characters including Dr. Seuss, Disney Princess, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Chuggington, Curious George, and more, making it fun for your kids to engage with their favorite characters while playing the game! We were recently sent a few games to review and my boys could not be happier.

Wonder Forge

The three games we were sent is Jake and the Never Land Pirates - Who Shook Hook?, Jake and the Never Land Pirates - Never Land Challenge Game, and DC Super Friends - The Joker Fun House Game. All of the games are recommended for ages four and up and even though Trevor isn't quite four yet he is able to play (and WIN) all three of these games!

Jake and the Never Land Pirates - Who Shook Hook?
Captain Hook is snoozing in his hammock, surrounded by all the treasure he’s nabbed from Jake and his pirate crew. Spin the spinner to choose your challenge, then use the sword, the fishing pole, or the shovel to pluck a piece of treasure! But steady as she goes–you need to grab the loot without sending Hook tumbling into the water where Tick Tock Croc awaits. This imaginative, play-packed game is sure to be a hit with clever little pirates.

Jake and the Never Land Pirates - Never Land Challenge Game
Join Jake and the Never Land Pirates for a high-spirited adventure! Grab your pirate gear and crawl, tiptoe, and jump through the vine archways to earn gold doubloons. Each turn offers a chance to prove your playful pirate skills, whether it’s tucking the cannonball under your chin or balancing Jake’s sword on your head. Collect more coins than Captain Hook to win!

DC Super Friends - The Joker Fun House Game
Calling all Super Friends: The Joker is up to his usual tricks, and he must be stopped! Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and Batman team up, calling on their special powers — X-ray vision, lightning speed, force fields, and the Batarang — to dodge The Joker’s gags and stop him in his tracks before he reaches the getaway car. The Fun House game board is supercharged with preschool play power: a wacky rolling ball, secret messages, and a launching Batarang will draw young super heroes into the action!

You can purchase each of these preschool games for a suggested retail price of $19.99. And be sure to come back between November 15th and 29th for your chance to win DC Super Friends - The Joker Fun House Game during the Happy Holidays giveaway hop!

My boys have just started getting into super friends and they are learning all about the bad guys, like Joker and Penguin and Mr. Freeze. They would get a kick out of this game!

I think it's a good concept, but I worry about pieces getting lost easily. We have a very large family, and the kids are encouraged to play games together... the youngest 2 don't have the best track record when it comes to keeping pieces together.

I would love to try these games out, my son loves games and he loves pirates as well. But his biggest problem was frustrations over the games itself, I think these games are perfect and simple enough for the youngens.

I'd like to see the Sesame Street games. I think it's fantastic to get kids started playing games early.

We don't watch Jake and the Never Land Pirates, but we appreciate board games that are easy enough for kids to understand, yet offer some learning challenge.

The jake and the neverland pirates game looks fun. My son is obsessed with the show when it comes on television on the weekends. When he was staying at home we would watch it every morning along with other disney shows. Funny story...my son was in ocracoke with my parents and went to a pirate shop and told the woman he wanted some gold dabloons. He is only four and the lady looked shocked my parents said that he even knew what those were. thanks Jake!

It seems like the Who Shook Hook game would be great for improving those small motor skills. Very important when it comes time to learn how to write. :)
