ClassicFlame Cannes Media Mantel Review

The heating system is laid out so strange in our house, it's almost impossible to keep it warm in the winter. You see, our furnace is in the attic so if we turn the heat up high enough to keep the downstairs warm it gets so hot upstairs that you practically sweat to death, and if you turn it down so that it's a decent temperature upstairs you have to wear layers and blankets just to keep warm downstairs. To say it's a pain is definitely an understatement.

Well, we have always relied on an electric fireplace to keep the downstairs a little warmer so that we didn't have to blast the heat but, of course, we don't have a lot of space so the fireplace we were using was tiny... That was until Twin-Star International offered to send us a gorgeous ClassicFlame Media Mantel to review. To be honest, I didn't even know there was such a thing otherwise we would have invested in one years ago.

Twin-Star International sent us the ClassicFlame Cannes Media Mantel in Premium Cherry Finish to review. The Cannes Media Mantel features a 23" electric fireplace insert that distributes 4,600 BTUs of fan-forced heat evenly throughout an area of up to 400 square feet. It requires no venting or gas lines, just a standard 3-prong 120V outlet! It features a temperature control thermostat, cool to the touch glass is safe for kids and pets, five flame brightness settings that can easily be adjusted with the control knob, energy saving all LED technology, and a remote so you don't have to get up to change the settings or turn it on/off.

When our Media Mantel arrived, the first thing I noticed was the smell of the wood. You know when you open a box and you can just smell that real wood smell... Well that's what it smelt like and that's how you know the quality is going to be great!

I absolutely love the premium cherry finish. I mean, it looked pretty in the picture but pictures don't really do this beauty justice. Plus when you add the realistic look of the resin logs and glowing ember bed, it just looks perfect!

I also really love the storage space that the Cannes Media Mantel has to offer. Not only is there a large center shelf for your DVD player, cable box, etc... but there are also two decent sized cabinets on both sides for movies, video games, etc. And I love the integrated wire management for keeping all of your cords organized and out of sight.

I cannot say enough great things about ClassicFlame and the Cannes Media Mantel. It's exactly what we were looking for and it does everything we needed it to do! Overall, we couldn't be happier!
