Changing His Game by Megan Erickson {ARC Review}

Changing His Game (Gamers #1)
by Megan Erickson

Coming April 28, 2015

He controls the game, but she’s rewriting all the rules…

Marley Lake is no stranger to awkwardness, but getting caught watching a dirty GIF by the company’s hot new IT guy exceeds even her standards. That is, until she realizes he's as turned on by it as she is. But with a big promotion on the line, she refuses to let her current dry spell be her downfall. Maybe.

Austin Rivers has no business lusting after the irresistible editor of Gamers Magazine. He's a secret partner in the business—and technically Marley’s boss. One look at that GIF, though, and he’s ready to install a whole lot more than just software…as long as she never finds out who he really is.

But reality’s not as virtual as it seems, and when Austin’s identity jeopardizes Marley’s promotion, he has to change his game or risk losing the only woman with the cheat code to his heart.

Brazen novels are my go-to when I'm looking for something dirty and Megan Erickson did not disappoint with Changing His Game. Who knew geeky gamers could be so sexy?! Seriously, I will never look at a video game the same way again!

Marley and Austin meet one night at work when Marley is in need of some assistance from the IT guy... Only Austin isn't really who Marley thinks he is. Even though they both try to deny the attraction they feel for each other, though both for different reasons, they eventually give in and what follows is smexy times at it's finest... I'm talking melt your kindle hot!!!

While I thoroughly enjoyed the kinkery between Austin and Marley, I found myself wishing for more relationship development. Don't get me wrong, you could feel their developing feelings for each other and I even believed the heartache during the inevitable break up, I just wish I could have seem them opening up towards each other more.

Character wise, they were both great... Marley with her playful personality and Austin and his quiet broodiness. Not to mention Marley's fun banter with her brother, Chad... I loved him so hard!!! And Austin's relationship with his best friend and business partner, Grant, and his daughter, Sydney.

Overall, Changing His Game was a great read and I can't wait to see more of these sexy geeks!

Disclosure: I was provided with an ARC of Changing His Game through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
